a. The house needs to be repaired

– The morpheme “-s” is added to the root “need” to form plural pattern. Moreover the subject “house ” is in singular form so when the subject in singular form It requires a verb in plural form

– The morpheme “ – ed” is added to the verb ( pair) to form the passive voice

– The morpheme “re-” is added before the verb ( pair) to express something done again ( the meaning of doing again)

b. That material should be magnetized
The morpheme ” – zed” is added to the noun ” magnet ” to form a new verb in passive voice./
